Carrigtwohill United made the trek to Bweeng for this week’s Local Cup Last 32 fixture.
Carrigtwohill were straight out of the blocks putting Bweeng Celtic under pressure and took the lead after 8 minutes of play with Noah Eddins reacting the quickest to a Rian Thornhill shot that came back off the post to place the ball into the net. 1-0 to Carrig.

Carrigtwohill upped the pace, Rian Thornhill dropped deep won the ball and attacked with intent spotted Sean Og Madden in space who let rip from about thirty yards out with the ball going into the top corner of the net. 4-0 to Carrig.
After some nice build up play from the back, Evan O Regan O Connor placed a pinpoint cross into the box where Noah Nsengiyumva headed the ball into the goal. 5-0 to Carrig.
Noah Eddins grabbed his second goal of the day after Rian Thornhill attacked the Bweeng Celtic defence passed to Osas Aghedo who poked the ball forward into the path of Noah Eddins. 6-0 to Carrig.
Noah Eddins saved his best goal till last after Niall Barry worked the ball up the field onto Noah Eddins who dribbled at the Bweeng Celtic defence and shop just inside box giving the keeper no chance. 7-0 to Carrig.
Roan O’Keeffe scored the final goal of the game placing the ball into the corner of the net after being put through by Sean Og Madden.8-0 to Carrig.
Job done, Carrigtwohill’s passage into the next round secured with all players getting good game time.

Notable mention for Morgan Foley who played in goal today, who did not have too many saves to make but was excellent and extremely comfortable with his ball distribution playing out from the back.
