Carrigtwohill United - 3
Rockmount - 1

Report:
On Sunday morning Carrigtwohill United welcomed Rockmount to Ballyadam for our 2nd league game of the season.
The lads were playing some fantastic one touch football and the movement off the ball was a joy to watch in the opening mins.
On the 7th min Carrigtwohill were awarded a free kick 25yards out.
Killian O Halloran was given the responsibility and as soon as Killian struck the ball it was only going in one direction and it rifled into the top corner to open the scoring.

The defence of Oisin Casey, Mathew Board, Charlie McCann and Rian Newman were dominant in their positions and with Alex Doyle and Noah Foley in the holding midfield role ensured that Rockmount were held back from progressing beyond the defence.

On the 11th min Miloz Giec controlled the ball with ease  in midfield and with the movement off the ball Miloz picked out a outstanding through ball right onto the feet of Paul O Neill who continued his run and calmly dribbled past two defenders and with precision slotted the ball past the Rockmount keeper to increase the score to 2-0 Rockmount came into the game shortly after and our goalkeeper Jamie Gray was called into action with some  superb goalkeeping skills.

As the first half continued the game was evenly balanced and with Rian Newman and Simas Valys on both wings showing great determination and skill to stop any attack Rockmount tried to create by playing out from the back.

Rockmount brought the score back to 2-1 just before half time
2 subs were introduced at half time Flynn Connolly and Jake Glesson who slotted into their roles with ease.
Within 10 mins Kristian Markovski replaced Killian. Shortly after Paul O Neill went on a solo run past 3 players and drilled it past the keeper to make it 3-1.
Colm Curran and Patryk Zalewshi were introduced, and both played some great football to ensure Carrigtwohill held on to the 3-1 scoreline and secure 3 points.

This was an amazing team performance and truly deserved the win.
