The Under-12A girls put in a superb performance today against Mallow United at Ballyadam

A solid performance by a back three of Robyn, Kate and Lili was the foundation for the girls to dominate the opening 15 minutes and it after a few near misses, it was Lucy who put the hosts ahead.
The visitors upped their performance, and the midfield of Emma, Aisling and Emma were on top of their game to keep them contained, but Mallow struck back after getting in behind the Carrigtwohill defence.

The second half was more of the same, with Zoe and Kaitlin a constant threat upfront and Kaitlin, Olivia and Liliana doing well.
Mallow managed to score a breakway goal and despite laying seige to the Mallow goal for the enitre last 10 minutes, our girls could not fine the equaliser despite a superb headed effort by Lili and a 1v1 chance that fell to Lucy

Star of the show today was Ailish, with a commanding performance in goals. She made some good saves, but it was her distrubtion and handling which settled the team
