Carrigtwohill United - 3
Mogeely F C - 3

Carrigtwohill came flying out of the traps today with all guns blazing, dominating Mogeely in every part of the pitch with a fantastic first half performance.
Carrigtwohill’s passing was outstanding, defence was rock solid and midfield did not allow Mogeely time on the ball. Their attacking players were creative  to set up numerous goal chances.

It took just 9 mins for Luke Guerin to slot home the first goal with a fine shot on target.
Goal keeper Jack Gilley had very little to do in the first half as his defence of Callum, Kyle, Darragh and Zack were  solid.  Patrick Vasseur was battling hard to win every ball in front of defense.
Liam Prendergast, Alan O Brien and Tunde Kareem tested the Mogeely keeper on a few occasions. Ben Kelly and Evan Foley also played well and fought hard to win the ball and made some nice passes.

Mogeely started the second half fired up and within two minutes tested keeper Jack Gilley who made a brilliant save! Carrigtwohill seemed to relax and a Mogeely forward was given time on the ball and duly scored. 1-1

Two minutes later Mogeely scored again, their forward dribbled into the box and without a Carrigtwohill challenge.  2- 1 Mogeely

Straight after the restart Carrigtwohill responded, Liam Prendergast with an assist set Alex Kimak up to score a fine goal with a perfect shot beyond the reach of the Mogeely keeper. 2-2.
Robert Cotter, Kaya Guler caused problems on the wings for the Mogeely defence while Jake O Sullivan, Conor Coughlan, Alex O Sullivan played well when they came on in the second half.
34 mins into the second half Mogeely were awarded a penalty.  Mogeely penalty taker gave Jack Gilly no chance of a save. Mogeely 3-2.

Four minutes later Carrigtwohill are awarded a free kick just a few yards outside of the Mogeely box. Callum Foley who had played today with his usual captains performance stepped up .  With a powerful and accurate strike to the top right-hand corner he saved the day for Carrigtwohill. 3-3
