Both teams came away from this game feeling it was there for the winning and losing. Carrigtwohill dominated the opening 20 minutes and should have been more that 1 ahead following a neat finish by Allie.
A breakaway goal was the spark the home team needed however, and they piled on the pressure for the remainder of the first half with Lucy in goals and Kayla staring.
Another goal from Allie just before halftime put the visitiors 2-1 up but the second half was more balanced as the play went end-to-end with both teams having chances to score.
A superb long range free kick which nestled into the top left corner of the net was the only goal and a draw was a fair result with solid signs of improvement from the Carrigtwohill girls.
