Both teams started strong knowing they needed to win to retain thei place in the league. Carrigtwohill made some great plays to produce 3 shots on target but were denied by a great Springfield ramblers goalie.
A mistake close to half time awarded Springfield a chance on goal and they took the lead.
1-0 down going into the second half but the boys knew it was their game for the taking. They didn't drop their heads and piled on the pressure to award them the equaliser 3mins into the second half.

A long ball by centreback Eoin Rooney fell perfectly for a run by Rayane Bouhdoud who slotted the ball past the goalie and into the bottom left corner.

David Gilley making some vital saves in the last minutes of the game secured the points for the Carrig boys.
