Carrigtwohill United - 5
Park Utd - 1

Report:
The Under-17‘s continued their good run of form with a home league win against Park United.

The boys got a quick start when Noah Eddins capitalized on a loose ball in the Park defence to open the scoring on three minutes. This gave the lads a good boost and we were close to getting a second with efforts from Kyle Kidney and Adam McCarty going close. Carrig were getting a grip of the game with some super work from Jerry O’Sullivan and Liam Coady in central midfield, a deserved second goal came on half hour with Noah grabbing his second with a neat finish into the bottom corner of the net. Our third goal was just before halftime when Adam McCarthy finished off a super run from Kyle Kidney.

The second half was in a similar pattern with Carrig flying out of the blocks and Adam grabbing his second just after the break. The back four was very solid today, challenging for everything, well supported by Kane in goal, Niall Barry rounded off our scoring on 65 minutes to make it five. Park pulled a goal back with a great strike from outside the box to make it 5-1.  The lads kept pushing on with Charlie, Zack and Kyle going close before the full-time whistle.

Today was a good performance from the lads. There were some excellent displays all over the pitch, Adam and Noah grabbing two goals each, Kyle also having a super game. The player of the match goes to Liam Coady a real hard-working committed game from Liam today.  Well done lads.

Carrigtwohill Scorers: Noah Eddins 2, Adam McCarty 2, Niall Barry Player of the Match: Liam Coady
