Report:
On Sunday morning we welcomed Youghal United to Ballyadam for a much-anticipated league game.

The game started at a blistering pace with Carrigtwohill applying pressure on the youghal defence from the first min and on the 5th min the lads got there reward with some magnificent one touch passing between Noah Foley, Rian Newman and Killian O Halloran who then with a crisp pass to Paul O Neill who side stepped his marker and from a tight angle drilled it past the keeper to open the scorring for Carrigtwohill.

The very strong defence of Alex Coyne, Mathew Board Charlie McCann and Killian O Halloran kept Youghal at bay and with Alex Doyle dominating the CDM role with ease.

On the 17th min Killian delivered a fantastic corner which found Charlie mcCann whose first touch took him away from the defender and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

22 min the passing out from the back was a joy to watch and then Paul picked out a fantastic run by Jake Gleeson who calmly lobbed the keeper with ease.

Youghal then put some pressure on our defence but could not find a way past Jamie Gray who once again was in top form with some fantastic ball handling.

As the 2nd half started the midfield of Flynn Connolly Noah Foley, Rian Newman and the introduction of Oskar Luszczek took charge of midfield and in the 44th min Jake chased down a ball which was passed back to goalkeeper, Jake didn't give up and forced the keeper into an error and Jake took charge and calmly found the net for his 2nd of the day.

As the game was about to end there was a mix up in the Youghals defence and Paul O Neill took advantage and drilled it to the bottom corner for his 2nd.

This was a well-deserved win and further increased our winning streak.
