This was another good performance by the girls who are really showing big signs of progress over recent matches. Although the scoreline rarely lies, it certainly does exaggerate at times and 2 messy goals from corners ultimately tipped this fixture towards the home side.
A new look defensive line was anchored by Robyn at centre back and she did not disappoint and put in a commanding performance to earn player of the match.
Ably assisted by Amy, Searlaigh, EmmaW and Faye at various times, this line played very well in open play and the new players are certainly coming along very well.

Kate and Ailish shared the goalkeeping duties, and both pulled off some good saves the highlight of which was Ailish’s’ point blank stop from a Carrigaline rocket !
The midfielders Ameila, Maisie, Kaitlin and EmmaQ were busy throughout the game but it was upfront where Zoe and Lucy caused the most bother for the home side with Lucy in particular starring with two superb goals
