Tomorrow evening will be a milestone for football in Carrigtwohill and our club when our Junior Womens team take to the pitch for the very first time in a competitive league match.

Since the first schoolgirls team was entered in 2021, it has long been the clubs ambition to provide equal opportunity to play for everyone and this season, along with the full compliment of schoolgirl teams from Under-12 to Under-16, we now have an adult womens team representing us.

They have been together as a group for the past couple of years, but finally this year, all the pieces have come together to allow them enter the league formally and they stepped up a gear in recent weeks with some intensive training sessions.

We wish them the very best of luck tomorrow evening. Please do come out and support them. The match KO is 7pm at Ballyadam.
