Carrigtwohill went one up after 7 minutes from a good passing move from the back. Oscar Connolly found Oscar Mazur down the left and his ball through the defence found John Buckley and he finished cooly beyond the Bandon keeper.
Carrigtwohill were very strong at the back quickly stopping any Bandon attacks with Antoni Kadula, Klaidas Dedela, Rian McGovern, Adam Lane, Oscar Connolly, and Colm Ó Murchú behind in goal dealing with any long balls played through.
Carrigtwohill’s second goal came on 14 minutes. A great corner from Ajus found Rian McGovern whose shot found the bottom corner. Carrigtwohill were well worth their lead at this stage.

For their third on 25 minutes Carrigtwohill produced one of their best moves of the match. Ajus and Ronan worked hard in midfield to win the ball, Ronan played a ball down the wing for Oscar Mazur and his run and square ball found John Buckley who finished under the keeper.
Three nil up at half time and some lovely football being played in the heat.
The midfield of Ronan Doyle, Cesc Matarin and Ajus Lepeska were well on top at this stage with some good passing and some hard work and tracking back to keep things flowing for Carrigtwohill. The wide men and forwards of John Buckley, Mati Majchrzak, Scott Parker and Oscar Mazur were a constant threat down the line and in behind and were doing an amazing amount of running considering the heat.
Carrigtwohill had a siesta for 10 minutes after half time, and this let Bandon back into the game. A few missed tackles left the Bandon midfielder through on goal in the 35th minute and he finished well to get one back for Bandon.
Carrigtwohill rode their luck a little also with a shot from distance from Bandon hitting the post and another being touched on to the bar by Colm who did well to gather the rebound.
This seemed to wake the lads up again and the football started once more with plenty of attacks from the right-hand side. Carrigtwohill’s fourth was a well worked move down the right in the 50th minute with Antoni finding Mati who found John in behind with his shot well saved by the keeper, but Ajus followed in to finish well from the rebound.
Carrigtwohill had a few more chances to add to the scoreline before the end through John and Ajus but the Bandon keeper did very well to get to these. Bandon got a second in the final minutes when their striker reacted first to a rebound from a long shot. But in the end Carrigtwohill were well deserving of the points.
