Report:
Carrig saved their best until last in a league deciding match today showing no signs of pressure as they got straight down to business. Within 4 mins Carrig had 4 goal chances, Tundae,  Liam, Luke & Gary all immediately applying pressure on the Douglas defence & goalkeeper. Dominating possession, passing well, making decent runs & putting shots on target it was just a matter of time before Carrigs efforts were rewarded. 17mins after some nice passing & build up Tundae held off his markers & with a super shot put Carrig ahead 1-0. 21mins Callum F slipped the ball to Evan who from just outside the box sent the ball home 2-0. 25 mins Luke who was playing out of his skin today scored a top-quality goal to make it 3-0. 
Carrigs defence were impenetrable as usual, Jack, Zach, Kyle, Alan & Callum F all on fire & kept the pressure on Douglas. Patrick was excellent & made some superb passes & tackles & created a few chances for his teammates upfront!
Carrig started the 2nd half in the same mood as first eager to score more goals. 46 mins Robert who was too hot for Douglas to handle scorched down the line & left a superb shot fly to the back of the Douglas net. 4-0. 

Ben, Darragh, Rian & Kai came on with fresh legs & continued to work hard to secure Carrigs next goal. 52mins. Another top-drawer goal from unstoppable Rob  5-0. 62min Douglas penalty sent wide. 65mins Rob leaves the Douglas defence in smoke to score his hat trick 6-0. Screamer of a goal.

79 mins Carrig after a long & winning season take their foot off the gas for a second & Douglas score. 6-1.
