Today marked the end of what has been a very enjoyable and productive season for our team. We’re delighted to gain promotion finishing third overall—a great achievement following our promotion last season. We’re going in the right direction and each player has contributed along the way.

Throughout the year, the team has grown stronger—on and off the pitch. We’ve seen great development in our football, but also in the bonds between the lads. From start to finish, the attitude, dedication, and spirit have been first-class.
Today’s final match saw us go 2-0 down early, and with a few players missing, we struggled to get going. But full credit to the lads—despite having nothing on the line, they fought back and showed real character. We managed to level things up and were incredibly unlucky not to come away with a win. It was a tough one, but a performance that showed just how far the team has come. Great goals coming from Jack and JP and can I just say a big thanks to Jamie and Killian for stepping up from the u14s with both having great games.

Every player should be proud—not just of today’s effort, but of the entire season. The commitment at training, the effort in games, and the way they’ve carried themselves has been a credit to them and the club. We may have just missed out on silverware, but the promotion is a well-earned reward.
Now, the lads can enjoy a good break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back next season—refreshed and ready to take on their final year of schoolboy’s football. Here’s hoping we can build on what we’ve achieved and go one step further.
