Report:

Carrigtwohill United Juniors got their league campaign off to a great start away to Carrigaline last Friday night. 

An early goal by captain Michael Deasy set the tone and Jason Walsh soon added a second. The  hosts got back in the game converting a penalty but Pat Horgan restored Carrigs two goal advantage before the break. 

A lapse in concentration early in the second half let Carrigaline back in the game again but Ian Murphy scored in the 54th minute to give the visitors control. 

Another Carrigaline penalty made for a nervy finish until Paul Browne tucked away the visitors 5th goal to ensure victory.

Many top performances but MOTM goes to Jason Collins for his excellent hold up play and vision (3 assists), well done all.
