In glorious sunshine two well balanced teams played out a thrilling 3 -3 draw. Carrigtwohill were 1-0 up after 7 minutes when Lucy scored a brilliant goal direct from a corner.  Carrigtwohill were unlucky to go 2-1 down but the defence of Faye, Amelie and Sophia were superb in pushing up and attacking the ball and bringing it out, with Emma, Grace and Olivia showing well for the ball. Carrigtwohill came out strongly in the second half and Saoirse showed her strength in holding the ball up and the benefit of being able to play with two feet by cutting back in and unleashing a shot with her left foot to make it two all.  Amelia was having a stormer protecting the middle and constantly breaking up play and 

Kaitlin showed good vision to split the defence with her passing on a number of occasions.  Despite Eveyln dominating her box and getting quick kick outs, Carrigtwohill were 3-2 down after the ball bounced around the box from a corner and ended up being nudged over the line.  The girls yet again showed their great spirit and togetherness by driving forward at every opportunity and harried and tackled their opponents and  deservedly got the equaliser with a fine strike by Lucy to get her second goal.  Both teams tried for the winner but the game ended a draw.  The game was played in great spirit by both teams.
