First Half
Carrigtwohill United U12 B lined out with Kacper Malecki in goal; a defensive trio of James Buckley, Ikenna Ugwah, and Conor McCarthy; a midfield featuring Filip Suslo, Abdurahman Wahbi, Jan Szalonik, Scott Lowth, Rian Collins, Ben O'Brien, and Leo Mendes; and a forward line led by Aaron Quinlan and Glen Mathew.
Carrigaline opened the scoring on 10 minutes with a scrappy goal bundled in from a corner, after a scramble in the box. Carrigtwohill responded strongly and equalised on 17 minutes when James Buckley stepped up to take a free kick from distance. His strike was unstoppable—rifled into the top right corner with pace and precision to make it 1–1.
Carrigaline regained control and struck twice more before the break, leaving Carrig trailing 3–1 at halftime.
Second Half
Carrigtwohill came out determined and pulled one back on 51 minutes to make it 3–2. The goal came from a well-worked move: the ball was laid back by Aaron Quinlan and struck cleanly by Filip Suslo, finding the net and giving Carrig fresh momentum. The team pushed hard for an equaliser, creating several chances and defending bravely, but Carrigaline held on to take all three points.
