Carrigtwohill United A started off strong at home to Avondale United B from the start in difficult conditions 

After some good attacking play the opener came after 15 mins with a pass from Scott to Dylan who applied the finish. Carrig kept pushing for more with a solid midfield of Rian and Krystian and great wing play from Liam, Alonzo & Josh. 

Against the run of play from a Carrig corner Avondale broke away and scored with a great finish. Carrig continued to dominate going close with attempts by Rian, Scott and Tom O. 

Finally the pressure paid off 2 minutes before halftime with Josh passing for Liam to finish coming in from the left hand side. 

HT – Carrigtwohill 2-1 Avondale United B.

Carrigtwohill started as they finished the 1st ,  attacking this time against the wind. Carrig’s defence were strong with Tom O, Ryan, Julian solid and not giving many opportunities to Avondale. On 46 mins Carrig got their 3rd with a phenomenal top  corner finish from Krystian after a pass from Liam. In goals Oliver was on hand for the few chances Avondale got making a couple of great saves. In the 59 minute a corner from Alonzo came to Tom O who took a touch to set himself up for a shot on goal and a fine finish.

 Just a couple of minutes before the full-time whistle Alonzo won the ball from an Avondale goal kick and applied a fine finish making the score at full time, Carrigtwohill 5-1 Avondale.
