Report:
An absolute cracking game right from the whistle today in Knockgriffin park against local rivals. This was end to end attacking football, Carrigtwohill defence had to be at their best today which they certainly were. Few chances for the visitors in the first half due to a strong defence from the home team. 
Most of the battles were in the middle of the park, Midleton had the best chance of the first half with a long strike which Niamh C was able to palm it away from the top corner.
0-0 at half, Carrig were in much need of a half time break, the second half saw a few changes from both benches, but this did not drop in quality. Carrig started to get into the final third with a few chances of their own, just not able to add the finishing touch to take the game late on. 
Game finishing at a stalemate 0-0
Great team performance from the Carrigtwohill girls, some of which were playing up from the younger ages.
