Carrig were terrorising the opposition with shots from Jack, Ryan M going close.
On 30 minutes an absolute worldly of a strike from Malachy Kelleher 25 yards out from goal, top ins, on his weaker foot, 2-0,ht.
Carrig had plenty of chances 2nd half to kill the game off but missed chance after chance, with complacency kicking in the opposition scored with 15 to go with an unforced error 2-1,ft.
The football today at times was breathtaking, the turns, touches, layoffs, attitude, desire, fighting for each other, getting the ball back when out of possession and overall display defied their age.
Best for Carrigtwohill Ryan Moore, Pranav Shatiskuma, Charlie Cronin, Ryan Collins.
