Carrigtwohill United – 1
Ardmore – 1

Carrigtwohill win 3–2 on penalties

First Half
It was an even enough first half, with both sides competing well in midfield and looking to settle into rhythm. Carrigtwohill edged the chances, creating the more dangerous openings and showing sharp movement in wide areas and through the middle.
There were good chances for Ariel Lembelembe, Mati Majchrzak, and Ajus Lepeska, who all found space in attacking areas but couldn’t quite convert.
The team featured Colm Ó Murchú in goal; defenders Antoni Kadula, Adam Lane, Rian McGovern, and Oscar Connolly; wide players Frank Krysiak, John Buckley, Ariel Lembelembe, and Charley O’Sullivan; central midfielders Ronan Doyle, Cesc Matarin, and Ajus Lepeska; and Mati Majchrzak up front.
Despite the pressure and attacking intent, the score remained 0–0 at the break.

Second Half
The breakthrough came on 35 minutes, when Ariel Lembelembe showed great determination and work down the wing, driving past his marker and delivering a low cross into the box. Mati Majchrzak timed his run perfectly and slotted home with composure to give Carrigtwohill a deserved lead.
Carrigtwohill continued to push forward, with good chances falling to Frank Krysiak, Ariel Lembelembe, and Ronan Doyle, all of whom tested the Ardmore defence with sharp movement and well-struck efforts.
Ardmore responded with urgency and pressed hard for the final 10 minutes. With just 30 seconds left on the clock, Carrigtwohill failed to clear a free kick, and the ball dropped to an Ardmore player on the edge of the box. He struck it cleanly through a crowd of bodies to level the match and force extra time.

Extra Time
Carrigtwohill were well on top throughout both 10-minute periods, showing great energy, control, and attacking intent. The team created several chances and kept Ardmore under sustained pressure, but couldn’t find the winning goal.

Penalty Shootout
Carrigtwohill held their nerve in the shootout, converting three and making key stops to win 3–2. Frank Krysiak, Antoni Kadula, and Cesc Matarin all scored their penalties with confidence. Colm Ó Murchú made a crucial save to deny Ardmore and help secure the win.
