Carrigtwohill United - 2
Wilton - 0

Report:
On Saturday afternoon we welcomed Wilton to Ballyadam for what was sure to be a tough challenge
As the game got underway Carrigtwohill had a spring in there step and showed that they were up to this challenge.
Carrigtwohill had plenty of possession and there confidence grew with some fantastic passing and movement off the ball.
Flynn Mulcahy and Jake Gleeson had the Wilton defence under fierce pressure on the right hand side throughout the 1st half, as they both
worked brilliantly together
With the defence of Alex Coyne, Mathew Board Killian O Halloran and Alex Doyle who dealt with ease any attack from Wilton and with Jamie Gray in goal commanding his defence as usual

As the 1st half continued Carrigtwohill grew in confidence with Noah Foley and Charlie McCann in  control in the midfield area with some fantastic passing.
Adam O Reagan was really impressive in his overall play and attitude.
Carrigtwohill created a few chances in front of goal but the Wilton keeper kept his team in the game.
On  the left side Killian O Halloran was in brilliant form with some calm footwork to get out of trouble at the back and then led the charge towards the Wilton goal. On a few occasions Killian linked up with Rian Newman who was a powerhouse in his attitude to win the ball and create chances.

On the 18th min Killian took a corner kick to perfection and landed onto Rians head who calmly headed the ball into the net.
As the first half continued Ryan Dalton was introduced and to his credit chased every ball and put the Wilton defence under pressure and this inspired his team mates to do Iike wise.

A couple of changes at half time with the introduction of Andrew Keating and Oskar Luszczek who both slotted into there roles perfectly.
Patryk and Zac were also introduced.
Charlie was instrumental in midfield, took possession and a lovely pass to Killian who took on 2 defenders and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.
Overall a fantastic team performance and deserved the 3 points.

Carrigtwohill Scorers: Rian Newman, Killian O Halloran
Player of the Match: Killian O Halloran
