Carrigtwohill faced Leeside in a competitive encounter, with Leeside coming out on top 2–0 despite a strong Carrig performance.

Carrig started well and enjoyed good passages of play, creating several promising attacks. Hanna was outstanding throughout, showing great energy and composure both in midfield and later when she slotted seamlessly into full back. Niamh was rock solid in defence, reading the game superbly and breaking up Leeside attacks time and again. Out wide, Lilly May was a constant threat, driving at the Leeside back line and causing problems whenever she got on the ball.

Carrig carved out multiple chances, but the Leeside goalkeeper produced a string of exceptional saves and was deservedly the player of the match. Leeside took their opportunities well, finishing clinically to secure the two goals that ultimately decided the game.
