First Half

Carrigtwohill United U12 B lined out with Tymon Glabisz in goal; a defensive unit of Odhran Healy, Finn McGrath, Ikenna Ugwah, Conor McCarthy, and Scott Lowth; a hardworking midfield of James Buckley, Rian Collins, Filip Suslo, Cian Mackessy, Ben O'Brien, and Leo Mendes; and a forward line led by Aaron Quinlan and Ronan Finn.

The opening half was evenly contested, with Carrig showing composure in defence and Corkbeg pressing hard to find an early breakthrough. Tymon commanded his area well, while the back line stayed disciplined and strong in the tackle. The midfield worked tirelessly to close down space and link play, while the forwards looked sharp on the counter.

Carrig also created some excellent chances: Cian Mackessy, Filip Suslo, Rian Collins, and Aaron Quinlan all came close to breaking the deadlock, showing real attacking intent. Both sides pushed hard, but the teams went in level at 0–0.

Second Half

Carrigtwohill continued to battle with determination, matching Corkbeg stride for stride. The midfield covered every blade of grass, breaking up play and driving the team forward, while the forwards pressed for opportunities. Despite both teams pushing for a winner, the match finished scoreless—a testament to Carrig’s defensive organisation and collective effort.

It was a great and even game against a good and competitive Corkbeg team, with Carrig showing resilience and spirit throughout. All the boys supported each other, kept their heads up, and never stopped working. Their determination, teamwork, and positive attitude were a real credit to themselves.

A special mention goes to Tymon Glabisz, who played his first game in goal for the team and kept a clean sheet with a composed and confident performance.
