Report:
Carrigtwohill lost in round 4 of the National Trophy against Premier opposition Corinthians.

As last week Carrigtwohill went into the fixture with a flu ravaged squad and were only able to tog out 11 players with a left back playing in goal, thanks to Evan Tovey for covering this position in back to back games.

All 11 players fought their hearts out but 4 individual errors undone a lot of good work.

To hear after the game by the opposition management that ye played some superb football was scant consolation to the players.

This game will be the making of this team for the remainder of the season as the fight, heart and football they displayed was a credit to each and every one of the 11.

Best for Carrigtwohill were Sam Collins, Charlie Cronin and Aaron Sheehan.

Lots to play for the rest of the season in a very competitive Division 1.
