Carrigtwohill were away to Leeside on a wet and blustery day at Leeside park. The hosts were on top for  the first fifteen minutes , but Carrigs defence was just as good shutting down any possibility of a shot on goal, which was topped off by a last gasp well timed crunching tackle by Olivia o Sullivan to prevent a certain goal.

Carrigtwohill came into the game  lot more after this,  creating  a few good opportunities also.

 

The second half  was very similar to the first, intense with both teams having chances Carrig having slightly more clear cut but a share of the spoils was definitely the correct result  on the day.

 

Well done to both teams on the day and to  the referee Sarah Healy on the day .

 

POM - Isabelle Kingston as per usual with an incredible game on the day shut down everything coming through on goal. Special mention to Rachael Uyi Irabor who was relentless in her work rate with constant pressure on the Leeside defence.
