Our Academy were on the road last Monday to Ballea Park in Carrigaline for a blitz. There was a total 16 teams present on the day with Carrigtwohill having 2 teams entered in the tournament. 

The girls were very quick in shaking off the cobwebs from Christmas. Both teams were successful in getting out of their groups with one team getting to a semi-final and the other getting to a final. 

Some great passages of play and some lovely defending and attacking on display. This team has done well up to now, only tasting their first defeat all season.
