Carrigtwohill playing there 1st league game in 4 weeks played some amazing football at times today.

From the off Carrig were on the front foot, dictating the play with some nice passing on a fantastic astro.

The opening chance fell to Ryan Moore who dribbled past 2 defenders and stung the hands of the keeper who did well to push it around the post.
Corner was swung in by Sam Collins and Ryan Collins hit a rasper that just went over the bar.
Carrig continued to dominate with a snapshot by Mal Kelleher saved well by the goalkeeper. HT.

The second half continued with Carrigtwohill dominant in every part of pitch and the dominance was rewarded on 50 minutes when a beautiful ball into the feet of Ryan M by Mal found Ryan with acres of space and he duly obliged by putting the goalkeeper the wrong way and sticking the ball into the net.

Zayd and Ryan Collins went close to extending the lead but the goalkeeper made 2 top class saves.

On 60 minutes Carrig doubled their lead with a ball swung into the box by Aaron Sheehan was met on the run by Mal who scored a bullet of a header, lovely finish.

Carrig came close again to scoring through Charlie Cronin and Aaron but again the goalkeeper was to deny them.

An excellent display throughout the game by the whole team and substitutes who also contributed to what was a well-deserved win.
