Yesterday, our Club Chairman Fred received a donation of 1000 euro from  the East Cork Indian Community. Present in the pictures are (from left to right): Mathew Panikkamannil, Joel Lijo, Fred Adam, Lijo Joseph, Shijukumar, Kate, Ger O'Hanlon and Club Secretary John Barry.

 

In a wonderfully spontaneous gesture, East Cork Indian Community group undertook to do fund raising dedicated to our Let's Go Astro project and have now acquired a Gold Square which will proudly bear the name of their group when the wall of sponsors is finalised later this year. The club is very grateful to the for this generous support.

 

The group added that “they were delighted to support this important project and contribute towards a facility that will benefit players, families and the wider local community for many years to come and they wish Carrigtwohill United AFC every success with the new Astro pitch and the continued growth of the club”
