On a windy Bank Holiday Monday in Ballinhassig, Wilton & Carrigtwohill played out the 1/4 final of the U14 Cup. 

Carrigtwohill played the first half with the wind behind their backs and making the most of it scoring 2 goals, the first one was a great finish from a very tight angle from Abbie Rall & the 2nd was a great individual brilliance from Molly Dennis who brought the ball down 25 yards from goal and hit an unstoppable shot into the top right hand corner and Carrigtwohill went in 2-0 at half-time. 

Carrigtwohill knew that Wilton would come at them 2nd half and would have to defend brilliantly and they did with brilliant performances from their centre back pairing of Abbey Carroll & Emma Cashman who were both excellent with the protection of Isabelle Kingston in front of them who again was outstanding. Carrigtwohill then broke away down the left with a great run from Éabha Murphy which carried on into the box and she slotted the ball into the far corner to make it 3-0 to Carrigtwohill and finished that way

 

Carrigtwohill move on to play Midleton in the semi-final.
