We are delighted to announce that Ahern's Centra have come on board as a Project Partner of our new Astro Pitch development. There have been no matches in Ballyadam yet in 2026 due to the pitches being so wet, so an all-weather facility is vital not only for the players of today but also future generations. We are heartened to get this support from Ahern's Centra who see the value to all the community of such a facility. 

Ahern's Centra are one of the cornerstones of village life in Carrigtwohill. Originally Barry's shop, they have served multiple generations from under the arches in the middle of the main street before developing today's wonderful shop which is a hub for all the community. Characterised by the friendly and helpful local staff, the shop is both an essential stop for groceries and of course a wonderful meeting place also. The team there have been great supporters of local clubs, societies, schools and other fundraising initiatives over many years and this latest support of our Astro project is typical of the positive contribution they make to Carrigtwohill
