Report:
Sunday morning saw us return to Ballyadam for the first time in what felt like months, back on a grass pitch. Douglas Hall B were the opposition, and for the opening 25 minutes the sides were evenly matched on what was a very heavy surface.
What really stood out today, though, was the strength in depth of our squad. All 16 players got plenty of minutes, and every substitution seemed to lift the tempo and energy, which ultimately proved decisive.
We ran out comfortable winners in the end, with outstanding performances across defence, midfield, and attack. It was also great to see the goals shared around: Owen Lombard and Ryan Matthew both got on the scoresheet, Fionn Morrissey grabbed two, JP netted a hat-trick(one an absolutely beautiful dinked finish )and Sam Dolan added one as well.
On to the next round we go well done lads. Great result and fabulous performance ⚽️
