Congrats to our Under-16 Premier players Owen Aghedo and Michael Sullivan who both played their part  in a 9-goal thriller for Cork against The Midlands in the All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday 22 Feb.

 

Trailing 3-1 at half-time, Cork showed great heart to fight back and level the game 4-4 to force Extra Time. With only three minutes left in Extra Time and the game heading to penalties, Cork found a winner with a fantastic header to finish the game 5-4.

 

​Owen and Michael represented the club with huge pride on the day, and their Carrig coaches & teammates are very proud of their hard work and commitment.

 

​Best of luck to the squad and management in the U16 All-Ireland Final in March where they will take on either Wexford or Limerick 🔴⚪️
