Well done to Molly Dennis and Kaitlin O’Dea who were both in action for Cork last weekend.

Molly was part of the CWSSL U14 team who travelled to Kilkenny for the Interleague semi-final. A brilliant achievement to reach this stage and a performance to be very proud of.
Molly was on the scoresheet on the day, and Cork pushed hard right to the final whistle in search of the equaliser, but it just wasn’t meant to be this time.
Commiserations on the result, but a fantastic achievement overall — reaching an Interleague semi-final is no small feat. Well done to all the players and management, and huge congratulations to Molly and Cork on a super campaign. 💙💛⚽👏

Meanwhile, Kaitlin was part of the Under-12 CWSSL Interleague squad who were narrowly defeated by Galway at Mervue. The home side grabbed the winning goal in extra-time after it finished 2-2 after the 90 minutes. Although disappointed, the girls had a great day out and were in great spirits on the bus trip home.

Well done to all the coaches and volunteers involved with both teams.
