Carrigtwohill Over-35s bounced back from a deflating loss to Corinthians with a stellar performance vs championship contenders Mayfield. Having lost 5 starters in first half to injury vs Corinthians, the result told the story. 

 

We turned up with barely 11 players with manager playing nearly full game with only one sub available but ended up with a 1-1 draw.

 

Best on the day was a resolute backline of Fionn O'Sullivan, Peter O'Brien and Liam O'Sullivan. Special mention to the dominant midfield which created chance after chance where Mayfield goalkeeper emerged hero of the night
