Rathcormac A – 4
Carrigtwohill United B – 0

First Half
Carrigtwohill United U12 B lined out with Kacper Malecki in goal; a defensive line of James Howick, Rian Collins, and Conor McCarthy; a midfield of Ben O’Brien, Filip Suslo, Akshay Sasidharan, and Colin Ahern; and Aaron Quinlan and Kacper Wajda leading the attack.
Carrig were under pressure early, but Kacper Malecki made numerous saves, showing bravery and sharp reactions to keep the team in the game. The back three of James, Rian, and Conor put in plenty of strong tackles, staying committed and organised against a lively Rathcormac attack. Rathcormac eventually found a way through, and Carrig went in at halftime 1–0 down.

Second Half
Carrigtwohill came out determined after the break, with the midfield battling hard to win second balls and link play. Rathcormac found their rhythm and added three more goals as the half wore on, but Carrig’s work rate never dropped.
There were standout efforts across the pitch:
  • Ben O’Brien produced amazing last‑ditch tackles, preventing further clear chances.
  • Rian Collins was constantly thwarting Rathcormac attacks, stepping in time after time with brilliant reading of the game.
  • Filip Suslo once again ran himself into the ground, covering huge distances to support both defence and attack.
Even as the scoreline stretched, the Carrig boys kept working, kept supporting each other, and kept their heads up, showing real character in a tough away fixture.

Man of the Match
Rian Collins – A superb defensive performance, breaking up attack after attack with excellent positioning, timing, and determination.
