FAI Junior Cup action at Ballyadam this weekend as Carrigtwohill United Juniors hosted Passage D3.
Ian Murphy put the home side one up at halftime with a beauty of a free kick on 17 minutes.
Second half Ronan Browne scored a superb solo goal after being released by Pat Horgan.
Two goals up after 63 minutes but Passage came at us strong and had the game level with 10 minutes to play.
The visitors were pushing hard for a winner but we broke and won a corner, Antoin Hervas Barry delivered, Leslie Edwards finished, 3-2 with only a couple of minutes to play.
Passage threw everything at us but we broke again and Browne squared for Edwards to make it 4-2.
A pulsating finish to a typical cup tie and Carrigtwohill delighted to progress to the 2nd round, best for the home side were Ben O Leary, Pat Horgan and Dan Kingston.
