Carrigtwohill United Juniors made the short trip to Knockgriffin Park Friday night to take on Midleton D3 in the John Hayes Trophy.
The game was played in an open fashion with both sides having their share of possession but neither creating many clear cut chances, being a cup tie it felt like one goal would be enough to win it and prevent and ordeal of extra time and penalties and so was the case as Midleton snatched a winner in the final minute.
Best for Carrigtwohill United were Shane Daly, Alex Fitz & Paul Browne.
