Report:
Tonight our local rivals, Riverstown came to Ballyadam on a beautiful evening for football. We started very brightly and found ourselves 2–0 up after just 10 minutes. From that point on, there was no doubt about the result.
We played some excellent, free-flowing attacking football and were a joy to watch throughout. Ryan Matthew and Eoin Lombard both excelled, with Eoin going on to score a superb hat-trick. He was well supported on the scoresheet by JP, Fionn Morrissey, Ryan Barry, and Sam Dolan.
From back to front it was a very dominant performance and the result puts us where we want to be — top of the table — and hopefully we can stay there or thereabouts come the end of the season.
