🔵🟡⚽️🟡🔵Carrigtwohill Utd Girls U14A,  U14 and U15 players, headed to Wexford over the Easter break for a fantastic team weekend away.

 

A group of 24 girls and 8 coaches made the trip, staying at the IOAC in Rosslare, where they enjoyed an action-packed few days. Activities on site included high ropes, the Berzerker team challenge, and kayaking — all of which brought plenty of fun, teamwork, and great memories.

 

A special movie night gave the girls a chance to relive their sporting journey so far, along with some inspiring messages from top sports personalities.

 

On the pitch, the team had a great run out against Forth Celtic on Friday. Jessy and all at Forth were exceptional hosts, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable game for everyone involved. A second scheduled match was unfortunately cancelled, but spirits remained high as the group swapped the rain for bowling, pool, and amusements at Leisure Max in Wexford.

 

The final evening saw a competitive (and very entertaining!) table quiz, with some memorable answers and great prizes for the winning teams.

The nights were rounded off with plenty of BBQ smores — which may have kept a few awake a little longer than planned!

 

All in all, the girls returned home on Sunday tired but happy after a brilliant weekend together.

A huge well done to all the players, and special thanks to the coaches for organising such a fantastic trip — Ciara, Lucy, Emma, Aaron, Colin, Jamie, Emily, and Will.
