Carrigtwohill made the long journey to Lismore on a glorious morning, in which to play football.
On what was a beautiful surface Carrig got into their groove from the off, stroking the ball around and moving the opposition all over the pitch, this was to be rewarded on 5 minutes when some lovely free flowing football was rewarded when Jack ó Keeffe eased past the defender and squared it to Malacy Kelleher for a tap in, lovely move.
On 7 minutes Carrig doubled their lead when Mal returned the favour and cut the ball back into the path of Jack who rifled into the top corner.
Carrigtwohill with their tails up were playing some beautiful football with Christopher Ó Reilly in goal, really good with the ball at his feet, distribution was outstanding and he launched a sublime ball over the opposition defence into the path of Pranav who dinked the ball over the defenders leg and in came Ryan Collins to bury it into the net 0-3.
The opposition would score right on ht when Carrig conceded a needless penalty, 1-3 ht.
Carrigtwohill were to score within 1 minute of the restart after some great pressing from Ryan Moore and Sam Collins forced the midfielder to play a ball back towards his own goal and Jack nipped in and nutmegged the goalkeeper.
Jack scored his hat-trick on 50 minutes when he got on the end of Charlie Cronins floated cross to the back post, Jack tapping the ball into the net 1-5.
On 55 minutes Ryan C scored his 2nd when a ball down the left by Evan Tovey to Ryan M who again played a lovely low ball across the box and Ryan duly tucked it away.
The way Carrigtwohill were moving the ball around the pitch it was very hard for the opponents to keep up, Sam spraying the ball out to the right side of midfield giving Charlie Cronin acres of grass to run into, Charlie galloping down the wing played a delightful ball into the box and Tristan slotted it in between the goalkeepers legs, 1-7.
Charlie would round of a terrific team performance and make it 8,ft.
