On what was a cold breezy Thursday evening in Ballyadam, the girls put on a superb display against table toppers Carrigaline.

Unfortunately,  it was the visitors who took an early lead in the first half with the wind and despite creating several guilt edged chances in the first half and two clear chances in the opening minutes of the second, the girls were unable to convert into goals.

As they piled on the pressure in the second half, they were caught with two break-away goals so the final score did not reflect what was a highly competitive match against a team that have won all but one of their games this season.
