Kanturk – 2
Carrigtwohill United – 5

First Half
Carrigtwohill lined out with Colm Ó Murchú in goal; defenders Antoni Kadula, Adam Lane, Oscar Connolly, Rian McGovern, and Charley O’Sullivan; a midfield group of Ronan Doyle, Cesc Matarin, Ajus Lepeska, Ariel Lembelembe, John Buckley, Mati Majchrzak, and Frank Krysiak; and attacking options in Chiemekam Emeakaroha and Oscar Mazur.
Carrig made a brilliant start and took the lead on 5 minutes. Mati Majchrzak burst down the right and drove a low ball across the box, where Oscar Mazur arrived perfectly to finish first time into the bottom corner for 1–0.
On 10 minutes, Carrig doubled their advantage. Antoni Kadula found Ajus Lepeska, who showed great strength to hold off the defender before finishing confidently to make it 2–0.
Kanturk pulled one back on 20 minutes when Carrig missed two chances to clear their lines. The loose ball fell kindly to the Kanturk forward, who finished well to make it 2–1.
They equalised on 28 minutes with an absolute worldie — their midfielder spotting an opportunity from just inside the Carrig half and launching a stunning strike that flew straight into the top corner. A moment of pure quality that brought the game back to 2–2.
Just before halftime, Kanturk almost took the lead, but Colm Ó Murchú produced a crucial moment — rushing out bravely and making a big 1‑on‑1 save, standing tall to keep the scores level heading into the break.

Second Half
Early in the half, Chiemekam Emeakaroha made a strong run down the right and picked out Ajus Lepeska, who took the pass in stride and finished powerfully to restore the lead at 3–2.
Carrig kept pushing, and Chiemy turned provider once more — this time slipping a ball through for Ariel Lembelembe, who made it 4–2 with a composed finish.
The final goal came from the same combination that had been dangerous all morning: Chiemy driving at the defence and feeding Ajus, who completed his hat‑trick and sealed a superb 5–2 victory.
Every player contributed — the defenders stayed disciplined, the midfield worked tirelessly, and the attackers kept Kanturk under pressure throughout. It was a strong collective performance from start to finish.

Man of the Match
Ajus Lepeska and Colm Ó Murchú shared the honours.
Ajus was outstanding throughout — strong on the ball, relentless in his running, and clinical in front of goal as he powered home a superb hat‑trick to drive Carrig to victory.
Colm was equally impressive at the other end, showing excellent distribution all game and producing crucial saves, including a massive 1‑on‑1 stop just before halftime that kept Carrig level at a key moment.
A brilliant attacking and defensive double act.
