First Half

Carrigtwohill lined out with Colm Ó Murchú in goal; defenders Lorcan Thornhill, Oscar Connolly, Charley O’Sullivan, Rian McGovern, Antoni Kadula, and Adam Lane; a midfield group of Ronan Doyle, Ajus Lepeska, Ariel Lembelembe, John Buckley, Mati Majchrzak, and Frank Krysiak; and attacking options in Chiemekam Emeakaroha and Oscar Mazur.

 

Carrig started brightly and took a deserved lead midway through the half. Ajus Lepeska drove forward and slipped a perfectly weighted pass into Oscar Mazur, who finished confidently to make it 1–0.

Avondale threatened once with a direct ball through the middle, but Colm produced a brilliant one‑on‑one save, standing tall and blocking the shot to protect Carrig’s lead.

Carrig controlled most of the play, moving the ball well and limiting Avondale to very little. The defence stayed solid, and Colm’s handling was assured whenever called upon. The sides went in at the break with Carrig leading 1–0.

 

Second Half

Carrigtwohill pushed on after halftime and doubled their lead with a well‑worked move. John Buckley found Ariel Lembelembe in space, and Ariel finished calmly to make it 2–0.

Carrig continued to dominate, and the third goal arrived after another excellent passage of play. Mati Majchrzak carried the ball forward and picked out Ajus Lepeska, who struck a powerful finish to seal the win at 3–0.

Carrig saw out the game with composure — the defence stayed organised, the midfield worked tirelessly, and the attackers kept Avondale under pressure throughout.

Ajus Lepeska and Colm Ó Murchú shared the honours.

Ajus was excellent throughout — energetic in midfield, constantly driving the team forward, and capping his performance with a well‑taken goal to seal the win.

Colm delivered a top‑class display at the back, commanding his area and producing a brilliant one‑on‑one save in the first half that protected Carrig’s lead at a crucial moment.

A superb attacking and defensive pairing who set the standard for the team.
