Carrigtwohill advanced to the quarter-finals of the Kevin Dillon Cup after an impressive victory over Ballinhassig B this morning.

Playing once again on their beautiful new astro pitch, Carrigtwohill dominated from the outset, with the difference in divisions evident at times. However, in fairness to Ballinhassig, they never gave up. They are clearly a well-coached side and appear to be a very united team.

Carrigtwohill led 2-0 at the break thanks to a superb long-range strike from Krystian and a fine finish from Scott, assisted by Tom O. The scoreline could have been much greater were it not for the outstanding Ballinhassig goalkeeper, who produced save after save throughout the game.

The match finished 4-0, with the additional goals coming from a clinical finish by Alonzo (assisted by Tom O) and a great goal from Liam (assisted by Ciarán).

Attention now turns to the quarter-final against Castleview on Tuesday.

It was a fantastic team performance, with excellent passing and movement throughout.

Isaac was outstanding today, driving forward from defence time and time again, while displaying excellent vision and execution with his passing and through balls. 👏⚽
