Carrigtwohill United came from behind to secure a deserved 2–1 victory over Blarney United at Ballyadam Park, with two late goals completing an excellent comeback.

Carrigtwohill dominated the first half and created several opportunities, but it was Blarney who took the lead after 10 minutes. A corner dropped into the Carrigtwohill box and, after the defence failed to clear, Blarney eventually forced the ball over the line. Carrigtwohill continued to control the game but could not find an equaliser before half-time.

The pressure continued after the break and finally paid off in the 85th minute. Kuba Hofft broke down the right and delivered the ball across the box, allowing Adam McCarthy to finish and level the game. Carrigtwohill completed the turnaround just two minutes later when Antoin Hervas Barry delivered an excellent corner which Kevin Jones met brilliantly with a header into the net.

A thoroughly deserved three points for the Juniors after a determined performance and a fantastic late comeback.
