Carrigtwohill United continued their winning start to the new season with an excellent 4–1 away victory over Grenagh at the Grenagh Sports Complex.

It was the girls' first away trip of the season, against a Grenagh side who had comfortably won their opening two games. Despite windy and showery conditions, Carrig produced another disciplined and determined performance.

Kaitlin opened the scoring after 12 minutes with a fine finish, before Saoirse doubled the advantage in the 26th minute, finding the back of the net from inside the box to give Carrigtwohill a 2–0 lead at half-time.

The strong form continued after the restart, with Olivia C making it 3–0 just six minutes into the second half. Credit to Grenagh, they continued to battle and pulled a goal back in the 53rd minute.

Carrigtwohill responded immediately, however, with Kaitlin adding her second of the game in the 56th minute to put the result beyond doubt.

There were excellent performances throughout the team, with the central midfield and back line showing great discipline, competing for every ball and continually pushing the play forward. Skyler also produced a fine performance in goal, particularly in the first half when playing against the wind, making several important collections to keep Grenagh at bay.
