Carrigtwohill United 3–4 Ballincollig

For the second week in a row, the lads produced an excellent performance, playing some really good football and scoring three goals in the process. Despite conceding an early goal, Carrigtwohill responded brilliantly, with JP scoring twice, assisted by Zac and Eoin Lombard. Ballincollig restored their lead before half-time, but the lads never let their heads drop.

The second half saw Carrigtwohill take the lead again after some great combination play between Eoin and JP created the opportunity for Rian Numan to arrive at the back post and finish, scoring his first goal of the season. Two penalty decisions in the final ten minutes ultimately went against us, turning the game in Ballincollig's favour.

The lads should hold their heads high. The performances are heading in the right direction and the results will come. 👏

A special mention to Roger, who stepped in as goalkeeper and was excellent, while Oisin worked tirelessly all afternoon. A big thank you also to Luke and Rian Barry, who came directly from another game to make the second half — something that was hugely appreciated by their teammates.
