An exciting game of end-to-end action saw both teams share the points at the final whistle. After a tricky start, Carrigtwohill settled into the game and began to dominate possession and territory. Sadie was a constant threat up front and was rewarded with two well-taken first-half goals.

There were excellent performances all over the pitch, with Melek doing great work on the left wing and Maisie constantly probing down the right. The back line was once again rock solid, and it looked like the points would be heading back east.

However, the home side finished strongly and scored twice in the final 10 minutes to earn a share of the points.

A really entertaining game and a great effort from everyone involved. Well done, girls! 👏💙💛
