The girls went into today's National Cup tie knowing they faced an uphill battle, and they certainly rose to the occasion. Carrigtwohill took a little time to settle and allowed Corinthians to score twice inside the opening 15 minutes. However, once the girls found their rhythm and focused on pressing the ball and winning their individual battles, they became extremely difficult to break down.

Every player dug deep and worked tirelessly to keep Corinthians at bay, while Carrigtwohill also created chances of their own. It was a collectively solid performance with a fantastic work ethic from all the girls, who can be very proud of their effort.

Congratulations to Corinthians and best of luck in the next round. 👏💙💛

⭐ A special mention to all the girls for an excellent team performance.
