Report:
Sunday morning saw the arrival of Kinsale to ballyadam in the local cup in what was a beautiful morning for a game of ball. After starting poorly and being one down after 15 minutes the lads rolled up their sleeves and put a great performance for the rest of the game. The football at times was outstanding but what was most pleasing was the work rate and physicality shown by every player playing against a team a division above us. Eoin Lombard got us back level after 25 mins converting a penalty that he earned himself and Eoghan Rall scoring 10 mins later to put us 2-1 up at the break.

The second half saw some more great combinations and patterns of play and when Sam came in off the right wing Paulie laid off a lovely pass for Sam to rival the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards to make it 3-1.  We conceded one against the run of play but with 15 mins to go the impressive Paul Kelleher rose like a salmon at the back post to power a header in from a great Sam corner. Some brilliant performances on the day Patrick, Cian to name a couple but Ryan Barry put in a man of the match performance in the middle of the park working tirelessly and gliding around the pitch all game with the ball at his feet.
